Smoken Joes is not a stranger to us. A few years ago it was a place where our families would meet up and enjoy delicious food. But after increases in price, we seeked cheaper restaurants to eat at. Although it had been years since we last entered the doors of Smoken Joes, the place has changed very little.

The good bits:

• The meals have generous serving sizes


• Smoken Joes has an intelligent layout, with numerous tables spread throughout the restaurant


• It is a family friendly place to eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner


• The cakes are extremely scrumptious and pleasing to look at

The bad bits:

• As we have already mentioned, Smoken Joes is expensive and probably isn't a regular eating place


• The food we ordered today wasn't outstanding, but if you don't mind spending a little extra the Chicken Camembert and Farmhouse Chicken are delicious


• Smoken Joes don't seem to have a lunch menu, so we had to order from the dinner menu

Quirk of the place:

• The waiting staff are exceptionally helpful, although almost too helpful. We have never had a problem with attempting to grab their attention when wanting to order food or drinks

-Expensive, meals can be hit and miss, good service

Noodles- Chicken with Asian style vegetables

Eggplant Chips- Very very yummy! Highly recommended

Vegetarian Lasagna- disappointingly it consisted mainly of spinach and wasn't fancy
